BECKLEY, W.Va- The University of Charleston Golden Eagle Baseball team is back on top of the Mountain East Conference after defeating the Glenville State Pioneers in the championship on Sunday. Charleston dropped the first game 5-4 but then came back to win the winner takes all game 13-5.

They notched 13 hits, walked seven times and stuck out only three times over seven innings in the Mercy Rule win over the Falcons.

INSTITUTE, W.Va. – The Golden Eagle Baseball team finished the regular season with a sweep of host and rival West Virginia State on Monday afternoon. In the two games Charleston combined for 33 runs and tallied 29 hits.
