HASLET, Texas — Aly Stanosheck pinned her way to a third place District finish and prepares for Texas Region 1 meet on Friday April 16th.
Aly Stanosheck keeps the steamroller going in her junior year at Eaton High School in Haslet, Texas . Coming off of a shortened season due to Covid restrictions she entered the district meet with 11 wins, seven of them by pin. ￼
The junior captain lead her squad to a very successful shortened season and advances as one of three EATON high school girl wrestlers.
The regional meet this Friday will be the biggest competition these girls have faced as only the top three wrestlers in each weight category compete for the rights to qualify for the state meet.
Aly and her teammates embraced the short season and put in the extra work to qualify at the top of their weight classes. In addition to the two hours a day of wrestling practice at school Aly attends a club wrestling practice three days per week for an additional two hours.￼
Texas Region 1 wrestling begins Friday at 9am CST in Haltom City, Texas.
