Taryn Taylor commits KWU
LAWTON, Okla. (BVM) — Graduation is around the corner, and high school athletes are making their decisions on where they’ll be continuing their athletic and academic careers. For Taryn Taylor, that decision was made on March 30. She announced that she would be heading to Kansas Wesleyan to continue her soccer career.
Taylor has been a four-year starter with the Lady Wolverines, and she has been named to the all-district team two times. And during this season, Taylor helped the Lady Wolverines win more games than they have previous five seasons combined. According to MaxPreps, the team won seven games. Taylor scored two goals in four games this season.
The Kansas Wesleyan women’s soccer team recently wrapped up its season on April 15. Unfortunately, it fell to Columbia College in the opening round of the NAIA national championship. However, with a 14-5-1 overall record, the Lady Coyotes have a lot to be proud of.
With the addition of Taylor, the Lady Coyotes will aim to improve the record and reach the next level of the NAIA national tournament.
Please welcome Taryn Taylor to the KWU family! Taryn will join us is the fall. #rollyotes @Taryn7T https://t.co/Z0z3Y5lxaV
