Nunez is heading Colorado Northwestern CC
ELGIN, Okla. (BVM) — Graduation is around the corner, and high school athletes are making their decisions on where they’ll be continuing their athletic and academic careers. For Elgin High School girls soccer standout Victoria Nunez, that decision was finalized Tuesday. She announced that she would be heading to Colorado Northwestern Community College to further her academic and athletic career.
Nunez was a three-year starter for the Lady Owls. She played center defensive back for all three years. Following her senior seasons, she was awarded all-state honorable mention by the Oklahoma coaches association.
She was also part of a Lady Owls team that won 10 games and reached the second round of the Class 4A state playoffs in 2019.
Now, Nunez will look to help the Spartans women’s soccer team reach new levels. Currently, the Lady Spartans are 0-4 and they are wrapping up the 2020-21 season.
