“T.J. comes in with a lot of experience under his belt. He is a multi-dimensional player because of his wide array of skill sets,” Grant said. “He’s very good at attacking the basket and is efficient in the paint. Bickerstaff will be a welcome addition to an Eagles lineup that is losing prominent inside scorers in Steffon Mitchell and CJ Felder. After a pandemic–stricken season saw Boston College go 4-16, the Eagles will feature a much different lineup in the upcoming year.
The incoming Boston College forward comes from a basketball family with his uncle J.B. Bickerstaff heading the Cleveland Cavaliers. Coming out of high school in Georgia, T.J. was the 4A All-Region Five Player of the Year.
With Boston College coming up short of its goal this past season, Grant and the Eagles are hoping T.J. can help push them to be more competitive in the ACC next season.
