During her senior year, the 6-foot-1 forward averaged 20 points, 9.5 rebounds and four blocks during the season. She finished her career with 1,281 points, 710 rebounds and 290 blocks. It was an impressive career for a high school standout. She also shot 55% from the field.
“Bri is an exceptional inside out player with range. We’re fortunate to add another player from the state of Oklahoma that has the length, skill and ability to provide an immediate impact,” NSU women’s head basketball coach Fala Suiaunoa said in a press release. “Bri was a standout in 2A, almost averaging a double-double. She is going to bring a great presence to the court, team and campus community.”
Adding to an impressive recruiting class, Wietelman will aim to help the RiverHawks improve upon their 6-16 overall record from last year.
