ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — On Saturday, May 1st, 2021, Blackman’s Championship Martial Arts had 10 students test to Black Belt and one student to 2nd degree Black Belt.

Nine of the students were between the ages of 10-13 and two were adults. The test lasted for six hours, challenging body, mind, and spirit. The journey of five years to first dan and more than eight years to second dan had its ups and downs, but the performances by these candidates proved that perseverance with properly focused energy can lead to uncharted success in reaching one’s goals.
