When Covid-19 restrictions are lifted, Teagen aspires to earn his black belt. The biggest challenge he currently is learning to manage in Karate is correcting his form, and becoming more disciplined in his practice. He once forgot a portion of a kata while testing, and he learned that you can never practice too much. The best advice Teagen has ever been given is that when you are embarrassed, just know everyone else has to do it too. If you tell yourself you can’t do something, you have given up before even trying. Teagen’s favorite part about Karate is how it strengthens his body and mind, and how Karate isn’t really a common sport. Introverted Teagen, enjoys practicing languages, biking, and building models outside of school and sports. His favorite music to listen to when getting ready for a competition is Queen.
