Robinson, who stands at 5-foot-9 and weighs 190 pounds, entered the transfer portal last week. He is just the second member from Alabama to end up with the Longhorns. The first was linebacker Ben Davis who announced in April that he would be suiting up for the Longhorns.
Robinson played one season (2019) at Alabama while Sarkisian was the offensive coordinator. During that season, he carried the ball 39 times for 254 yards. He scored twice during that season as well.
Before committing to the Crimson Tide, Robinson was a four-star recruit, according to 247Sports. He was also deemed the 15th-best running back in the nation.
Robinson adds speed and strength to an already impressive running back room. It’s shaping up to be an exciting year for Sarkisian and the Longhorns.
