Greenwich High School has 50 college commits in the Class of 2021

GREENWICH, Conn. (BVM) — With the calendar year coming to a close, Greenwich High School Athletics announced its full list of student-athletes committed to playing their sport at the next level. There are a total of 50 athletes in the Class of 2021 committed to playing DIII to DI sports. 

“Congratulations to the members of the Class of 2021 who have committed to play their sport in college,” Greenwich Athletic Director Gus Lindine said in a video news release. “We are extremely proud of your achievements as an athlete on the fields, in our classrooms and in our community. We know there will be continued success in the future.” 

The Greenwich athletes (17 female and 33 male) are committed to playing all different sports. The list includes: football, soccer, water polo, lacrosse, swimming, baseball, field hockey, tennis, softball, rowing and track and field. 

Several notable DI commits include AJ Barber for Princeton football, Ryan Bucaria for Boston rowing, Miles Langhorne for Vanderbilt baseball, Meghan Lynch for Stanford swimming and Mari Noble for Princeton track and field as well as cross country.
