Oak Creek High School softball is finishing the season strong
OAK CREEK, Wis. (BVM) — With the postseason beginning later this month, Oak Creek softball is looking strong as it enters the final part of its season.
The Knights are the No. 1-ranked team area, No. 2 in the state and lead the Southeast Conference with a conference record of 12-0 and overall record of 22-1. They haven’t lost a game since April when they lost their second game of the season to Union Grove in a close 2-1 game.
Oak Creek has been stelar on both offense and defense. They have only given up five runs in just one game and have had 11 shutouts while on the offensive they have scored more than 10 runs in 14 games.
The Knights have many impressive players on their roster but that has really taken over is sophomore Riley Grudzielanek. She has been dominant on both sides of the ball, pitching no-hitters, then hitting home runs and racking up RBI’s
The state tournament is slated to begin at the end of June up in Green Bay and it would be no surprise if Oak Creek was one of the teams up there competing for a state title.
