Northern Highlands junior quarterback, Arjona, gives verbal commitment to Monmouth Hawks
ALLENDALE, N.J. (BVM) — Enzo Arjona, a Class of 2022 quarterback at Northern Highlands Regional High School, has decided to stay home to continue his football career. He took to Twitter on July 5 to announce his verbal commitment to the Monmouth University football team.

Arjona received an offer to play in the Ivy League at Columbia in February and then one month later he received the full scholarship offer from Monmouth. Four months after receiving the offer from the Hawks, Arjona chose to not wait any longer and then gave his verbal commitment to the program. Now, Arjona will be able to play out his senior season during the upcoming 2021-22 school year without the pressure of college recruitment.
As a junior, the 6-foot, 190-pounder finished out the season with stats better than the national average. The future DI commit is currently ranked by MaxPreps as the No. 36 football recruit in New Jersey.
