Mamaroneck Tigers win the 2021 Massaro Park Summer League Championship

MAMARONECK, N.Y. — The Mamaroneck High School Tigers will celebrate their significant achievement for the coming weeks after securing the Massaro Park Summer League Championship win against their rivals Next Level Athletics.

The Tigers proved to be the better team in an exciting final game played at the Massaro Park on Aug. 9 in Larchmont, New York. Aidan Roy once again showed why he is one of the most promising players on the team, putting up a clutch performance to clinch the win. This came just six weeks after hitting an impressive game-winner in the High School Summer League.

Coach Carver was not shy in expressing his joy. He congratulated the whole team after a proud performance from his boys. This win came after a challenging campaign, going up against formidable opponents like the Rising Rebels that gave them a hard time. The team has seen a significant improvement since they played in the High School Summer League, and by the look of things, there is more to come.

Former MHS Assistant principal, Stephen Frasene, showed up for the game giving the team great support and a much-appreciated confidence boost.
