Dunedin Falcons lose to Hollins in the Kickoff Classic
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (BVM) — It was an exciting weekend for football fans in Florida as Dunedin high traveled to Hollins High School to play the preseason classic. The game was energetic, and it was clear that both teams came ready to play.
The game started at 7 p.m. The Falcons’ coach, Mitch Disney, decided to field his starters in the first half of the game. At halftime, the score was 7-0 in favor of Hollins High School, not what the Falcons expected, but they still had a chance to win the game.
Coach Disney decided to rest his starters in the second half, and the subs then came into the game. The second half score was14-0 in favor of Hollins high for a total score of 21-0.
It was an off night for the Falcons. They tried their best but were unable to get into the rhythm of the game. They look to learn from their mistakes as they get ready for week 1 of the regular season.
