Colton Castillo’s kick ensured that Naples led 7-0 at the end of the first quarter. Kendrick Raphael’s 35-yard touchdown run in combination with Castillo’s kick saw Naples take a 14-0 lead early on in the second quarter. By halftime, the Golden Eagles were up 24-6 against their opponents.

The third quarter got off to a slow start. The Eagles and the Lightning got into the red zone on their first possessions. But both turned it over on downs. Sophomore Right back Martavion Young capped off the game in stunning fashion extending the Naples lead to 44-6 via a 62-yard touchdown run.

Naples will be looking to continue playing as well as they did into the new season as they aim to be the new champions
