Springboro High School football team scheduled to make its 2021 season debut this Friday against Middletown High School
SPRINGBORO, Ohio (BVM) – Set to play its first game of the season during another brutal heat wave in Southern Ohio, the Springboro Panthers will have to demonstrate grit and perseverance to come out with a win against the Middletown Middies on Friday. With its previous home opener canceled last week against the Lebanon Warriors, there’s no doubt the Panthers are more than ready to get back on the field again.
Going against a 0-1 Middletown team may be in Springboro’s favor, as the players have yet to experience a defeating loss this year. Led by head coach Ryan Wilhite and quarterback Evan Ruzzo, the Panthers will take on the Middies at 7 p.m. on Aug. 27.
