Canton McKinley High School set to play Wayne on Friday, Sept. 3

CANTON, Ohio — With Friday rapidly approaching, the McKinley Bulldogs have some recharging to do after two tough losses thus far in the season. Giving up over 40 points to both Mentor and Austintown-Fitch, the Bulldogs’ defense is going to have to regroup and take some time to study the offensive plays of Wayne High School. The Warriors are currently sitting undefeated, securing wins against both Reynoldsburg and Dunbar.

Although the McKinley football team started on the wrong foot, there is time for improvement. Friday’s circumstances might challenge the Bulldogs, as they’re not competing on their turf at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium. The showdown between McKinley and Wayne is scheduled to start at 6 p.m. at Premier Health Field Heidkamp Stadium in Huber Heights, Ohio.
