Mendham girls soccer defeat Roxbury in convincing fashion
MENDHAM, N.J. — The Mendham Minutemen girls soccer team dominated the Roxbury Gaels this past Monday afternoon. The team has been moved up in rankings and is officially ranked ninth overall in the
state, per NJ.com.
Junior Abigail Fitzsimmons had a huge game recording one goal and two assists for the Minutemen. Senior Aimee Barsa and sophomore Lia Manuel both had a goal and an assist each to help pitch in on the outstanding performance. Not to mention, junior Sara Brandt also delivered a goal to extend the lead.
Senior Caitlin Joyce helped pitch a shutout alongside star goalie junior Sonja Zeepvat by making one save each.
The Minutemen dominate the Gaels, 4-0. The Roxbury Gaels still search to find their first win on
the season dropping to 0-6. The Mendham Minutemen advance to 5-0-1
