SANDPOINT, Idaho — Sandpoint Legacy Wrestling Club kicked off the Fall 2021 North Idaho Wrestling League (NIWL) in Bonners Ferry for the first tournament of the season. Thirty-eight Legacy wrestlers were eager to test their skills on the mat with wrestlers from around North Idaho. It was a fun but long day for the team who placed 27 kids in the top three of their brackets with two more 4th place finishes and a total of 45 pins for the Bantams through Middle Schoolers on the team. One Pre-Bantam won all of his three matches.

Pre-Bantam: Indy Parr-Coffin 3 wins.
Bantam – 8U: Clarissa Birch 2nd, Boheme Parr-Coffin 1st, Jack Balch 1st, Lucas Carlson 1st, Dominik Watson 1st and Knox Kulp 1st.
Intermediate – 10U: Tristan Porter 2nd, Beau Cates 1st and Tommy Holman 2nd.
Novice – 12U: Miro Parr-Coffin 1st, Damen Therrien 3rd, Tyler Wood 1st, Kinley Dennis 3rd, Nathan Issacharoff 3rd, Zak Wood 1st, Lucas Porter 2nd, Summer Birch 3rd, Maxx Watson 1st, Dominic Ratigan 1st and Mason Balch 3rd.
Middle School – 14U: Carter Happell 3rd, Gage Haines 2nd, Conner Brown 3rd, Neveah Therrien 2nd, Joe Neff 2nd, Colter Cates 3rd and Daniel Holman 3rd.
