GA athletes break world record for fastest man pushing a wheelchair in a marathon

MILTON, Ga. — Chris Nasser and Bentley-Grace Hicks went to Boston seeking to break the World Record for Fastest Man Pushing a Wheelchair in a Marathon. Finishing at 2 hours, 50 minutes, and 21 seconds Chris and Bentley-Grace beat the old record by over 8 minutes!

Bentley-Grace was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy Spastic Quadriplegia after a severe brain bleed on the day she was born. Now 20, she has been racing since 2015. Father of two and co-owner of Roswell-based Inspector roofing, Chris, teamed up with Bentley-Grace to help make her world record dreams come true. The pair were brought together by the Kyle Pease Foundation in Atlanta which provides equipment and grants to create opportunities for inclusion for people with disabilities. Chris and Bentley-Grace not only share the World Record, but they also share a special, sibling-like bond and this is surely the first of many accomplishments for the elite pair.
