Singleton siblings of The Pine School share the sport spotlight

PALM CITY, Fla. — Siblings Wade and Caroline Singleton are Florida natives who have lived in the beautiful community of Crane Creek since 2012. The oldest two in a family of five children, sports have always been an integral part of their lives. Wade, 15, first held a golf club in his hands when he was two years old and now plays golf, basketball, and lacrosse for The Pine School as a freshman. At 6’5”, he is looking forward to a promising year on the varsity basketball team. When he’s not studying or playing in a tournament, he can be found leading a flag football game for his three younger brothers, Thatcher, Wyatt, and Charlie, and their neighborhood friends in the backyard.

Caroline, 13 and in the 7th grade, has won several competitions with Gardens Synchronized Swim, a nationally ranked artistic swim club. Now in her first year at Pine, she is putting her strong swim skills to use on the school’s swim team, where she holds this season’s female record for the 50 freestyle event at 28.03 seconds. Out of the water, Caroline is in the middle of her first volleyball season and plans to play lacrosse in the spring. She is known for her love for animals and recently helped welcome eight goldador puppies into the world, the first litter of the family’s beloved English Golden Retriever, Calloway.
