ORO-MEDONTE, Ontario — Yes, the competitions are mostly individual events, however the process of getting to the races involves a team of athletes, coaches, parents and sponsors, and a whole lot of fun for all.

Team Hardwood is a “learn to race program” for graduates of “learn to ski programs” or really any other competitive sports. Founded and led by Head Coach Jack Sasseville – a former National Ski Team Coach for 13 years, and coached by Sarah and Jason Vurma who have been coaching skiers for over 15 years.

COVID-19 has really created greater awareness of Nordic skiing which a beautiful sport you can enjoy as a family and friends while taking in the outdoors.
