From karts to cars, Austin Hill is racing all over North America

CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — Austin started karting a little late in the game, but he is quickly rising to the top. After making the switch from karts to cars at the age of 13, he is turning heads and drawing national attention.

Austin Hill is currently 14 years old and making history. Austin is one of North America’s top up and coming standouts. He competes in the SCCA Hoosier Super Tour, Formula Race promotions F2000 Championship Series, and in several national karting programs around the country. Austin stays busy, but not just with racing. He is a student at Adena High School (near Chillicothe Ohio) where he is working hard to keep his grades up as well.

It was announced in early November that Austin Hill is the 2021 SCCA Hoosier Super Tour National Champion in the FX Class. At just 14 years old, this is a major accomplishment. Austin’s dad, Andy, spoke highly of Austin’s competitive nature, “Austin doesn’t look to race against kids his age or younger. He is competing against guys several years older than him.” Andy continued, “He is competing in the SCCA FX and Formula Atlantic and FRP F2000 and Formula Atlantic open wheel classes in 2021 and we are looking for big things in 2022. He wants to be a F1 or Indy car driver. He has won several races in both series and classes.” Here is a list of his accomplishments:
