In one of his interviews, he said that he was not a gifted player, but he had great coaches and mentors in his life who pushed him to make him a good football player. Moreover, in the latter part of his life, he pursued football coaching as his career in varied schools and colleges. He had tons of experience before joining Smithville High school.
He has more than 27 years of coaching experience and still wants to learn from other people that is why it distinguishes him from other coaches. Ambroson is an optimistic individual which also helps his team in long run and performs well as one unit in varsity football.
Coach Ambroson with his sage advice to his team and giving 100 percent on the ground is the result of his team performing well in the last few years. Thus, his age has not shown in the energy he brings to the sideline, constantly engaged in conversation with players and referees. He’s even started instructing scoreboard operators now that reduced crowd size during the pandemic has limited the roar of the crowd.
