Busy season for Ooltewah HS soccer team co-captain Lauren Wright
OOLTEWAH, Tenn. — Congratulations to Lauren Wright, a Senior at Ooltewah High School. As current team co-captain of the Ooltewah High School Soccer team, she has had a busy soccer season, as she is also finishing her senior year as a 4-year starter and a 4-year letterman. Her team is a two time 1st Team All-Region winner for 2020 and 2021. They also won the Smoky Mountain Cup in 2021. She also won the Gold Ball Award for most points scored, and earned herself the title of Co-MVP on her team.
Lauren is quite the busy and hardworking young lady. She is currently ranked 6th in her class, as she is taking honors and college level courses, while maintaining her impressive 4.0 GPA. She was also voted Homecoming Queen during Ooltewah High School’s 2021 Home-Coming festivities.
While her dad says that she is a book, he also says that Lauren as number 24 “plays like a beast.” It is clear that Lauren Wright is an amazing soccer player and student, and she plans to play on the collegiate level after she graduates.
