Get to know new Beavercreek head football coach Marcus Colvin
BEAVERCREEK, Ohio — Beavercreek City Schools is excited to announce Marcus Colvin as the new varsity head football coach at Beavercreek High School. Colvin comes to Beavercreek Schools after coaching the past 11 seasons at Chaminade Julienne Catholic High School as head football coach. During those years, he had a 65-52 record, 7 OHSAA Playoff Appearances, and in 2019 the Eagles won the GCL Championship. In 2017 Coach Colvin was named GCL Coach of the Year, and in 2019 he was named GCL and Miami Valley Coach of the Year.
Before Colvin started coaching, he also had a successful career as a player. He lettered four years at the University of Dayton and started for three years. As a Flyer, the team won four league championships and the 2002 DIV.I-AA Mid-Major National Championship.
Colvin has dedicated his time and efforts to students on the field and off the field. He holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Education from The University of Dayton. From 2004-2019 he served as a social studies teacher. In 2019, he was named Director of Student Services at Chaminade Julienne.
