Basketball blood runs ‘Greene’ for these brothers at Riverdale Ridge High

THORNTON, Colo. — Brothers Brady and Aiden Greene both play basketball at Riverdale Ridge High School. Aiden is a freshman and plays guard/forward on the JV team. Brady is just one year ahead of him, a sophomore, playing forward/center on the varsity team. It’s almost as if basketball runs in their blood – because it does! Their dad, Brian Greene, is also a basketball player.

Brian graduated from Horizon High School in 1999 as “Mr. Basketball” and then went on to play ball at CSU. From there, he became a professional basketball player in Europe: Poland, Belgium, Germany, and France. The boys were raised in Europe too, with their younger siblings Kody and Alaina.

Here at RRHS, Brady is the tallest player on the team, coming in at 6’5″. His coaches say that Brady is full of energy, and pushes the break every opportunity he gets. They say that he fights for rebounds, even if it means leaping on multiple opportunities. Aiden may only be in his first year at RRHS, but he already towers over most of his teammates too at 6’3″. He brings a different game than his brother and excels at shooting from the outside, and driving to the basket to create opportunities for his team.

The RRHS Ravens feel fortunate to have this dynamic duo on their side! If you want to check out a game for yourself, you can catch the full schedule online at colorado7league.org.
