Frozen Assets 5K: Run or snowshoe across frozen Lake Mendota on Feb. 5

MADISON, Wis. — It’s the only 5K in North America held entirely on a frozen lake! Run, walk, or snowshoe across the ice on iconic Lake Mendota with beautiful views of downtown Madison on Feb. 5.

The Frozen Assets 5K starts and finishes at The Edgewater, right in the heart of the Frozen Assets Fundraiser Festival. (See related article in this issue.) Registration includes a soft T-shirt and optional chip timing. Awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers. Kids 10 and under can participate for free with a registered adult. Check-in begins at 8 a.m; race starts at 10 a.m.
