Rumson-Fair Haven T&F soon to compete at indoor nationals

RUMSON, N.J. — Under the tutelage of veteran coaches Bob Keogh and Tim McLoone, the Rumson-Fair Haven Bulldogs indoor track program is having a season to remember. After successes in the State Sectionals, State Groups, and the Meet of Champions, the Bulldogs are sending 5 Relay teams and 3 individual athletes to the National Championships.

The National Championships will feature the top talent from across the country and the competitors invited to the meets are awarded “All American” status in indoor track.

On the individual side Junior, Laef Golden will compete in the 400 meter race for the boys, freshman standout, Clemmie Lilley will compete in the 400 meter race for the girls, and Junior John Connors will compete in the High Jump.

RFH Track also has 5 Relay teams competing for the National Championship.  On the girls side the quartet of Megan Burns,  Chloe Dotts, Tyler Argilagos, & Clemmie Lilley will compete in both the 4X200 & 4X400.  The distance crew of Ryan Malone, Sara Grace Butler, Kate Murray, & Julia Shanes will tackle the 4X800 for the girls.

The boys will field a 4X400 team of Gabe Stypul, Owen Saad, Quinn Padovano, and Laef Golden.  Lastly, the boys 4X800 team of Thomas Shore, Jack McBarron, Quinn Padovano, and Patrick Simpson will try to improve on their record breaking season.  The boys 4X800 team has broken the school record on 3 occasions already this season.
