ABA opens play-in rounds with 7 games over weekend
INDIANAPOLIS — The American Basketball Association (ABA) opened its tournament season with seven games over the weekend as 64 teams begin competition to make the Final Eight in Kansas City in mid-April.
“The Baltimore Hawks with two wins were the first team to punch a ticket to the Finals,” stated ABA CEO Joe Newman. “All of the games were very competitive and next weekend, all of the remaining teams will be playing.”
