4 Northern Nevada baseball players soon to play at the D1 level
RENO, Nev. — 4 Northern Nevada Baseball players have signed or committed to Division 1 Baseball Scholarships next season: McQueen’s Robby Snelling, Reno’s Grayson Grinsell, Bishop Manogue’s Logan Pruski, and Luke Metzker.
Snelling is one of the top left-handed pitchers in the nation and has signed to play for LSU.
Grinsell is the reigning Northern 5A player of the year who has signed to play collegiately for Oregon.
Pruski signed to play for Nevada after hitting .400 with a .743 slugging percentage and 18 RBIs, nine doubles and three home runs in 14 games as a junior.
Metzker announced in a tweet in February, ”I am excited and honored to announce my commitment to the University of Kansas where I will be furthering my academic and athletic career,”. “I want to say thank you to my family, coaches and friends that have helped me to this point!”
