Upcoming Special Olympics Colorado track event at Fossil Ridge HS
FORT COLLINS, Colo. — After a couple years’ hiatus, Poudre and Thompson School Districts are thrilled to bring back Special Olympics Colorado for its 10th Annual running! The event will be hosted by Fossil Ridge High School on May 6th. Opening ceremonies begin at 10:30am, and then Middle and High School Track and Field events run through 1:15pm, followed by closing remarks.
The participants for this fun-filled day include students in 6th to 12th grade from both school districts, as well as those in the 18-21 transition programs. Each student athlete also gets paired up with a peer buddy for the day.
This is sure to be an exciting, festive day for everyone involved. Come on out and show your support with a smile and good vibes!
