INDIANAPOLIS — The Steel City Yellow Jackets defeated the defending ABA Champion Jacksonville Giants, 127-122, to advance to the ABA Finals on Saturday night vs Team Trouble from Stockton, CA, which defeated the host team, Baltimore Hawks, 116-106.

“Two very good and very competitive games,” stated ABA CEO Joe Newman.  “And tonight’s game should be a very good one also as we will crown a new first-time champion.  We new it would be an exciting Final Eight and it has met all expectations and has shown the tremendous quality of ABA teams. Fans have not been disappointed.”
