Head Coach Mark Southard, along with Coaches Chris Schoessow, Kyle Staudt and Sean Heep, train their team on a city field at Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park during the week. The fence line is full of family members watching their player develop their skills at America’s pastime.

Springtime baseball practice after school remains unchanged. Weekends for these dedicated players and coaches are reserved for tournament play throughout Central Texas. The Force is registered to play National Championship Sports tournaments.

Their most recent tournament was The Line Drive Classic in Henly, Texas. They walked away with a 2-1 record. Coach Southard is quick to praise everyone on his team for working hard at their game. When asked how his young team is developing, he used Kolton Clark, a player that has been with him previously. Kolton’s stats in the Henly tournament were : 6-for-6 at-bat, and as pitcher for 2.2 innings, Kolton held his opponents to only 2 Hits, 1 ER, 2 Walks and 6 Strike-Outs.
