BAYONNE, N.J. — For the first time in over two years, Bayonne’s Buddy Baseball League was able to get back out on the field and play some ball this past weekend, and New Jersey City University athletics — represented by its Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), the Rising Knight Institute (RKI) and the Gothic Knights’ baseball program — were there to help kick off the wonderful day of activity. To cap it all off, NJCU presented Buddy Baseball with a donation of $500, raised during this year’s eighth annual Knight Cap event.
