Weston continues undefeated run in taking down Newton South, 4-1

WESTON, Mass. — It was a nice day to play tennis at Weston High School as the Wildcats made quick work of the Newton South tennis team.

Zachary Regelman finished first, winning 6-0, 6-0 in one of his easier matches of the season. Regelman put together his game nicely today and is really starting to heat up right at the end of the season.

Benny and Noah Gilligan each took down their opponents with relative ease only dropping three games between them. B. Gilligan won 6-1, 6-1, and N. Gilligan won 6-0, 6-1. With these wins, B. Gilligan extended his win streak, while N. Gilligan kept his undefeated season going.

Magnus Starrett and Alex Ko played first doubles today, and they won 7-6, 6-1. The first set was surprisingly close, but Starrett and Ko were able to easily win the second set.

Weston takes on Wayland at home on Friday in the final match of the regular season.
