Spring Creek’s U10 girls soccer team wins Carson City tournament

SPRING CREEK, Nev. — The Northern Nevada Youth Soccer Association United U10 girls soccer team took home first place this weekend at the Wild West Shootout held in Carson City.

Coming off of a second-place win at the PVSC Spring Classic held in Pocatello, Idaho, the girls played hard and finished with four shutouts in Carson.

The soccer team won their first game 8-0 against Truckee River United FC TRU FC.

The second game was also a victory 5-0 over Sierra Surf SC.

The score was 7-0  in the third game against Sierra Surf FC 2012 NG.

In the final game, there was a winning result of 1-0 against Carson FC Bishop.

The United travel team will continue to play in their final Spring tournament in Rexburg, Idaho, for the Yellowstone Cup and defend their championship from last year.
