C.J. Stroud receives six-figure NIL deal with car dealership

COLUMBUS, Ohio (BVM) – C.J. Stroud has become the latest college football player using NIL to make headway in the car dealership business. After Texas running back Bijan Robinson signed on with Lamborghini Austin back in May, Stroud entered his name onto the growing list.
Following the announcement of his NIL deal with local car dealership Sarchione Auto Gallery, the Ohio State quarterback will now be driving a Mercedes G Wagon valued at $200,000.
Along with the agreement, Stroud can swap out the vehicle every 45 days.
“When you talk to people, whether it’s in the community or at the game, our brand awareness is what we’re building,” general manager of Sarchione Auto Gallery, Ryan Burton, told the Columbus Dispatch. “So when you have the best-of-the-best promoting your brand, it only does good things.”

According to On3, Stroud’s NIL value sits at $2.4 million, ranking him in the top 3 of all college football players in the nation. Recently, his former Ohio State teammate, Quinn Ewers, was posted on social media driving an Aston Martin.
Last year’s Heisman candidate will likely get an opportunity to add to his growing NIL resume as the Buckeyes are projected to sit near the top of Preseason AP rankings. Following a season that included Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year honors and over 4,000 passing yards, Stroud will get another opportunity to bring his team a Big Ten title.
With hopes of more than a conference championship, look for Stroud to capitalize on all things on and off the field this upcoming season.
