[VIDEO] Reaction to PGA Tour suspending players who play in LIV Golf events
The PGA announced suspensions to all PGA members who joined LIV Golf, the Saudi backed golf league, and competed in their events, including the inaugural outing in London this weekend. 17 golfers in all including Phil Mickelson and Bryson DeChambeau were suspended leading some to renounce their PGA membership like Dustin Johnson did earlier this week. With the U.S. Open next week at The Country Club and the USGA announcing they would allow LIV golfers to compete, the announcement from the PGA adds another twist to the drama that has taken over the sport of golf.
What is next in the fight between LIV Golf and the PGA? What can be expected from LIV Golf events moving forward? What will the U.S. Open be like following the suspensions and the LIV Golf event? Who is the favorite to win the U.S. Open? Also what can be expected from Tiger Woods after his announcement he was not going to compete in the U.S. Open. Geoff Shackelford joined Simple Question to talk with Matt and Scott about all of it on today’s episode.
