Lancaster, Pa. – (6/24/2022) – In the latest end-of-year announcements from the league office, Gwynedd Mercy University took the title for the 2021-2022 Atlantic East Conference (AEC) Women’s Lacrosse Team Academic Award. The Gwynedd Mercy University women’s lacrosse team combined for a 3.68 grade point average (GPA) to claim their second honor in four seasons as a member of the AEC. Recently the women’s lacrosse team offered 11 student-athletes to the 2021-2022 AEC All-Academic Team and contributed a dozen (12) student-athletes to the Gwynedd Mercy University Athletics Academic Elite.
