Frank Karczewski named new head football coach at Adams High School
SOUTH BEND, Ind. — John Adams Athletics is proud to announce Frank Karczewski as the new Head Coach of the Football team. Karczewski, a 2013 graduate of John Adams returns to his alma mater to take over head coaching duties after a successful assistant coaching career over the last several years. His coaching career began at Adams as an assistant before heading out to California to coach at the middle school level. Karczewski spent the last 3 years coaching at Indianapolis Cathedral, who won state championships in 2020 and 2021.While as a player at John Adams, Karczewski was the starting quarterback during the 2012 season and led the Eagles to a record of 9-3 and was named Second Team All Northern Indiana Conference.
Principal Jim Seitz has high praise for Coach Karczewski. “Coach Karczewski’s readiness to make a difference again within his community has been inspiring. Along with his love for his high school and hometown, he brings a spirit of integrity and leadership. He has a history of coaching exceptional athletes and scholars through his exemplary spirit and sense of community. He knows how to foster a winning culture.”
Athletic Director Dawn Huff adds: “We are excited that Coach Karczewski is returning to his alma mater and ready to make a difference again within his community. I believe he will ensure that his student-athletes are dedicated, motivated, and focused while possessing a strong work ethic on the field and in the classroom”
Coach Karczewski will become the program’s 20th head football coach. The Eagles will open up the 2022 season on August 19, 2022 at Northridge High School.
