Top 10 Indiana HS football players in Class of 2023

9. Sam West, TE, Greensburg

It’s a close race with Mount Vernon standout and Purdue commit George Burhenn, but West gets the nod as the best tight end in Indiana. A top-35 prospect at the position in the nation, West shined as a sophomore with 495 yards and four touchdowns. Last season, he was a do-it-all player for Greensburg as he had over 1,000 yards and 11 touchdowns passing with 443 yards rushing and seven more scores on the ground.

West will look to lead Greensburg to success yet again before staying in-state for college after committing to Indiana earlier this year.
