Top 10 Virginia HS football players in Class of 2023
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (BVM) – The state of Virginia has produced some of the greatest football players of all time, both at the college and professional levels. Lawrence Taylor, Bruce Smith, Russell Wilson, Michael Vick, Eddie George, the Barber twins and Eddie George each called the Commonwealth their home and that’s just to name a few of the numerous noteworthy players. With that many successful athletes coming from the state, it comes as no surprise that the state has become a hotbed for football scouts at the college level.
This year is no different as some of Virginia’s top seniors also rank among some of the best in the country. While there is plenty of top-level talent in the state, there are some that aren’t as nationally well-known who are also quite skilled. Here are the Virginia High School League (VHSL) top 10 football players in the Class of 2023.
