Top 10 Wisconsin HS football players in Class of 2023
STEVENS POINT, Wis. (BVM) – The Wisconsin high school football season is set to begin in mid-August and in honor of that, a list of the 10 best Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA) seniors has been put together. This list takes into account the seniors’ stats, team success and college offers. Here are the 10 best high school football players in the state of Wisconsin for the Class of 2023.
10. Davion Thomas-Kumpula, WR – Racine St. Catherine’s
To start the list is a wide receiver that everyone should pay attention to this season, Davion Thomas-Kumpula. Last season, the 5-foot-11 wideout had 49 receptions, 970 yards and 10 touchdowns for Racine St. Catherine’s. Thomas led the Angels in receiving yards, receiving touchdowns and receptions while also being one of the top junior wide receivers in the state. His best game came against Brown Deer in a 26-0 win in which Thomas had eight receptions for 222 yards and a touchdown. On defense as a defensive back, he returned a fumble for a touchdown, forced two fumbles and made 23 total tackles. He was named first team all-conference on both defense and offense in the Metro Classic and helped St. Cat’s finish 5-2 in conference play.
