8. Blake Schraufnagel, RB – Mayville
Blake Schraufnagel was the second leading rusher (2,421) in the state last season and was second in the state in rushing touchdowns (39). Those stats earned him AP First Team All-State honors and helped Mayville make it to the WIAA Division 5 State Championship game. The Cardinals lost to Aquinas, but Schraufnagel still rushed for 205 yards and two touchdowns. It was his fourth game of the season in which he rushed for over 200 yards. His best game of the season was in the state semifinal game against Belleville, as Schraufnagel had 270 yards on the ground and six touchdowns. If Mayville wants to get back to the state championship it will be on the back of Schraufnagel.
