9. Max Lynch, Sr., Pana
An all-state selection for the Pana Panthers a season ago, Lynch showed off his incredible athleticism frequently. A 2A All-State selection, Lynch threw for 1,563 yards, 19 touchdowns and just five interceptions while rushing for 1,323 yards and 20 more scores. At 5-foot-11, 160 pounds, Lynch doesn’t have the usual big-bodied qualities that fans typically see in a quarterback but that didn’t keep him from an 11-1 record and an appearance in the Class 2A quarterfinals.
