LOS ANGELES (BVM) — Created by Mason Gordon, the sport of SlamBall raised a lot of interest in the United States in the early 2000s. However, the sport would only be televised from 2002-03. It would make a brief return to 2008 before leaving TV once again. But, to this day, people still go to YouTube to watch highlights. Fans won’t have to search for highlights anymore as it was announced the sport would return in the summer of 2023.
One could imagine this announcement would spark a lot of interest in the sport again. And it most certainly has.
