The San Francisco 49ers offense may not be at full strength when they open the 2022 season on Sunday against the Chicago Bears. Star tight end George Kittle was not present at practice on Thursday. Kittle, 28, is dealing with a groin injury. It’s not believed to be serious, but the 49ers are taking every precaution necessary to ensure it’s a short-term injury.
