JEKYLL ISLAND, Ga.- The Ave Maria University women’s golf started their 2022-23 season on a positive note this week, as the Gyrenes teed off at the Coastal Georgia Fall Invitational. The Gyrenes posted team scores of 344 and 345 at Jekyll Island Golf Club, posting a 36-hole total of 689. That score is the lowest 36-hole score for an AMU women’s golf team in program history, besting the mark set at the Georgetown College Invitational during the 2016-17 season.
