La Porte girls volleyball looking to head into sectionals with momentum
LA PORTE, Ind. — As of press time, La Porte’s varsity girls’ volleyball were serving and spiking their way to a successful season. At 14-6 overall, the Slicers are looking to head into the Sectionals with continued momentum. Three of their four remaining scheduled matches are at home.
Ava Holtz is the team leader in kills, while Kayle Dove and Bella Meier are tops in aces and assists respectively. The defense is in good hands with Isabel Freese’s digging and Kate Buckley’s blocking ability.
The Slicers finish their regular season with a home matchup against New Carlisle on October 10th. Come support your highly competitive hometown volleyball squad!
